Volunteer Groups
CONCENTRIC VOLUNTEERS ZONE (CVZ) |
|
CVZ was established in August 2009 by a group of youth with a strong sense of social responsibility. They came together with the purpose of doing hands-on community service. CVZ members aim to take initiatives in helping those in need and do it with love, without asking for anything in return. |

After its founding, CVZ expanded rapidly into more than 1,800 volunteers, serving about ten social welfare organizations such as CereCare, Huiqin Children Wellness Center, and Putuo Retirement Home. By August 2010, CVZ decided to concentrate on one cause and thus arranged with CereCare to establish every Sunday afternoon as CVZ’s regular service time. Soon after, CVZ decided to further their involvement with CP children and formed two groups of volunteer conductors. |

Speech from the president of FFSVA
Differing in nationality, age, and majors, our volunteers are from diverse backgrounds. Although we may have different mother languages and cultures, nothing can affect our communication and interaction in FFSVA, because FFSVA is the best platform for us to share our love and do something for those who need. FFSVA will always be a special place in my heart because it gave me the chance to meet more foreign friends, learn more than I could in class, and make my life vivid as a foreign student. Thanks FFSVA! If you have the same passion to children and community service, join us!
