Conductive education emphasizes the following skills: physical functioning, play strategies, social interaction, academic skills, and self-care strategies. This is what a typical daily schedule looks like:

7:00-8:00, Get up, put clothes on, use the toilet, breakfast
8:00-8:30, Walking transition – practice walking from dining hall to classroom with assistance
8:30-8:45, Use the toilet and prepare for class.
8:45-9:30, 1st class: physical therapy and cognitive tasks, focusing on major muscles using long tables and floor mats.
9:30-10:00, Snacks, use the toilet, transition
10:00-10:45, 2nd class: cognition, speech, social interaction, hand, and self-care exercises.
10:45-11:00, Use the toilet, walking transition - practice walking from classroom to dining hall with assistance
11:00-11:30, Lunch - each child practices eating according to his/her own ability
11:30-12:00, Use the toilet, walking transition
12:00-14:00, Lunch break and nap
14:00-14:45, Get up, put on clothes, use the toilet, snacks
14:45-15:30, 3rd class: pulling/stretching, cognition, speech, social interaction, hand, and self-care exercises.
15:30-16:00, Snacks, use the toilet, transition
16:00-16:45, 4th class: major muscles practice, including sitting, standing, sensory integrative therapy, and moving in wheelchair
16:45-17:00, Use the toilet, walking transition
17:00-17:30, Dinner - each child practices eating according to his/her own ability
17:30-17:45, Transition to TV room
17:45-18:30, Watch TV and listen to stories
18:30-19:30, Shower and use the toilet
19:30-20:00, Transition to bed and prepare for sleep
